Job summary

Bulkhaul is seeking experienced LGV Class 1 drivers to join our fleet in Hull. You will be responsible for safe transportation of bulk powders and liquids in tank containers across the UK, including required night-outs.

Night shifts are common and CPC, ADR, tachograph compliance are essential. Role requires a minimum of 12 months Class 1 experience, valid LGV Class One license, Driver CPC, ADR relevant to liquids, and strong knowledge of UK roads.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Must hold a current LGV Class One (Cat C+E) license.
• Driver CPC training and a valid DQC are required.
• ADR license for liquids side is required; training for hazardous materials is preferred.
• Digital tachograph card is required for driving hours compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport bulk powders and liquids across the UK in tank containers.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer safety checks before journeys.
• Complete and maintain delivery notes, driving logs, and compliance records accurately.
• Ensure proper loading/unloading and equipment operation (pumps/valves) per procedures.
• Communicate with clients and site staff to ensure on-time, safe deliveries.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive and tachograph laws; plan driving/rest periods.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and wear PPE at all times.
