Job summary

Bulkhaul in Leeds is seeking experienced LGV Class 1 Drivers to transport bulk liquids and powders in tank containers across the UK. Night-outs are part of the role, with an average of 2-3 overnight stays per week.

The position offers competitive hourly pay with overtime, pension, holidays, training, uniform and PPE. Applicants should have valid LGV1 (C+E), ADR for hazardous liquids, CPC, DQC, tachograph card and a year min experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• ADR license for hazardous liquids transport is required.
• LGV Class One (C+E) licence is required.
• Driver CPC training and DQC are mandatory.
• Digital tachograph card to record driving hours.
• Familiarity with load securement for bulk liquids is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport bulk liquids, gases and powders across UK routes.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer safety checks before trips.
• Complete paperwork, logs and compliance records accurately.
• Load/unload cargos according to procedures and ensure cleanliness between loads.
• Communicate with clients and site staff to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive and tachograph rules; maintain safe driving hours.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and wear PPE at all times.
