Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers to join our team in Hinckley to work with our client who are one of the UK's largest parcel distribution companies. You will drive a Class 1 vehicle, move trailers and tug units safely, complete standard route paperwork, and perform pre- and post-route checks.

The role requires 12 months driving experience, DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, with a clean licence (no certain endorsements) and working knowledge

Qualifications

• You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving.
• You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
• As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle.
