The Best Connection Warrington is recruiting Class 1 HGV Shunters for a client in Runcorn. You will move trailers safely across the site to support production and distribution operations.

The role is full-time, on a 4 on 4 off pattern with 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00). Requires CE licence (min 1 year), clean licence with up to 6 points, and verifiable references. Terberg shunt unit experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CE licence with at least 1 year of experience.
• Maximum 6 points on licence for insurance purposes.
• Verifiable references from previous employers.

Responsabilités

The Best Connection Warrington are recruiting Class 1 HGV Shunters on behalf of our client based in Runcorn.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers across the site, supporting both production and distribution operations.

This is a full-time role based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Responsibilities:

• Coupling and uncoupling trailers using Terberg shunt units.


• Maintaining trailer supply.


• Completing trailer checks, including keg counts, trailer census at shift start and configuration sheets to ensure accuracy before dispatch.

Requirements:

• Valid CE licence with 1 year experience for insurance purposes.


• Maximum 6 points for minor offences.


• Previous experience of shunting operations using a Terberg shunt unit.


• Verifiable references.
