Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Shunter role for a client based in Runcorn, UK. You will move trailers safely, couple/uncouple, and perform checks to ensure accurate dispatch across a 4 on 4 off, 12-hour night shift (19:00–07:00).

A CE licence with at least 1 year of experience is required, along with verifiable references and a clean driving record with minimal points. Prior Terberg shunt experience is preferred; willingness to provide references is essential

Qualifications

• CE licence with at least 1 year of driving experience for insurance.
• Experience in shunting operations using a Terberg shunt unit.
• Verifiable references; clean driving record with up to 6 minor points.

Responsibilities

• Coupling and uncoupling trailers using Terberg shunt units.
• Conducting trailer checks and census at shift start to ensure dispatch accuracy.
