Job summary

The Best Connection Eastbourne is seeking a Class 1 Night Driver to join our trusted logistics partner in Heathfield. This role offers reliable ongoing work with weekly pay and potential for permanent opportunities. You'll be responsible for night trunking runs to depots, safe loading, vehicle checks, and complying with driver hours.

A professional, punctual attitude is essential. Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with CPC and Tachograph card; prior night driving is preferred.

• Tachograph card required or in date.
• Night driving experience preferred.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

• Night trunking runs to depots and hubs
• Safely transporting goods and ensuring secure loads
• Performing vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Complying with driver hours and working time regulations
• Representing the company professionally on the road and with customers
• Keeping the vehicle clean, secure and in good working condition
• Communicating with the transport office regarding delays, issues or changes to the run
• Following allocated routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals
