Job summary

The Best Connection Eastbourne is recruiting Class 1 Night Drivers to work from Heathfield with nightly trunking runs and weekly pay. This role offers stability, flexibility, and potential for a permanent position through temp-to-perm opportunities.

Requirements include a Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence, CPC & Digital Tachograph Card, and preferred night driving experience. You will work nights, comply with regulations, and represent the company professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence required.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous night driving or trunking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Night trunking runs to depots and hubs.
• Safely transporting goods and ensuring secure loads.
• Performing vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Complying with driver hours and working time regulations.
• Representing the company professionally on the road and with customers.
• Keeping the vehicle clean, secure and in good working condition.
• Communicating with the transport office regarding delays, issues or changes to the run.
• Following allocated routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

• Night trunking runs to depots and hubs
