Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely transportation of bulk liquids, gases and powders across the UK, adhering to road safety regulations and ADR where applicable.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer safety checks; report issues to fleet maintenance; keep vehicle clean for spot checks.
• Complete paperwork accurately (delivery notes, logs, permits) and ensure licenses are up to date.
• Load/unload cargo following procedures; operate pumps/valves safely; verify tanks are cleaned between loads.
• Communicate with clients and site staff to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
• Comply with Working Time Directive and drivers' hours rules; plan driving times with manager.
