Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Glasgow is seeking a Class 1 HIAB Driver for a 6-month fixed-term contract, with 1–2 nights out per week and a pay rate of £39,448.75 plus overtime. Responsibilities include safe driving, vehicle checks, and manual handling of customer products.

• Adhere to health and safety standards and The Highway Code; perform regular vehicle checks.
• Manual handling of customer products and ensuring on-time delivery.

Class 1 HIAB Driver - 6 months Fixed Term contract (1-2 Nights out per week)

Pay Rate: £39,448.75 + Overtime (T x 1.5) – Plus £35 per night out allowance

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

Shift patterns: 06:00 - 15.45 Monday to Friday (1-2 nights out per week)

Location: Glasgow ML1 4YQ

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations to deliver Electrical Plant units to businesses in the North of Scotland
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have minimum 12 months recent driving experience
• HIAB Ticket (essential)
• ADR Ticket advantageous, but not essential
