Job summary

The Best Connection are seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Tramping Drivers to work for our well-established client in New Holland, Barrow-Upon-Humber. Ongoing, long-term work with a dedicated vehicle and a guaranteed 48 hours per week, with nights out possible and a night out allowance of £24.50.

Role involves nationwide deliveries, daily vehicle checks, and strict adherence to POD paperwork, with AM starts and a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with city-centre delivery experience.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Minimum 12 months recent Class 1 experience.
• Professional and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide deliveries and collections including city centres.
• Daily vehicle checks and paperwork management (PODs).
• AM start times; some nights out may be required.
• Provide excellent customer service.
