Job summary

Pertemps Logistic Contracts is seeking a Class 1 shunter driver for our Ashford site. The role involves shunting trailers in and out of bays and moving trailers around the yard while maintaining safe, legal vehicle operation.

You will escort drivers to the waiting area, collect keys, and complete trailer move paperwork to report any damage. Mandatory 1 year C+E, CPC and Digi card, with no more than 6 points.

Qualifications

• 1 year C+E experience is a must.
• No more than 6 points on driving licence.
• Digi card and CPC.
• Previous shunting experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Shunting trailers in and out of bays and moving trailers around the yard.
• Ensure safe and legal operation of the vehicle at all times.
• Escort drivers to the waiting area.
• Take keys from vehicles and complete paperwork for trailer moves to report damage.
