Job summary

DFDS in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable Class 1 HGV night driver to deliver frozen goods across the UK. You will operate modern, well-equipped trucks and ensure on-time, safe deliveries while keeping paperwork tidy.

You must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and a DIGI card. Training is provided for fridge trailers; a positive attitude and commitment to service are essential. Join a diverse team and grow with DFDS.

About The Role

We’re looking for reliable and professional Class 1 HGV night driver to join our team delivering frozen goods across the UK. You’ll be out on the road in modern, well-equipped trucks, making sure deliveries get where they need to be, safely and on time.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Collect and deliver frozen products using temperature-controlled trailers
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Keep delivery paperwork tidy and accurate
• Work closely with our planners to keep things running smoothly
• Use onboard tech to monitor temperatures and routes
• Help out with loading/unloading when needed

About You

You’ll need a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and a DIGI card. Experience with fridge trailers is great, but if you’re new to it, don’t worry, we’ll give you all the training you need. What really matters is a positive attitude, a focus on safety, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service every time.
