Job summary

XPO Logistics in Uddingston is hiring a full-time Class 1 HGV Driver. You will undertake single or multi-drop deliveries, typically Mon–Fri 05:00–16:00, with up to 2 nights out per week, and ensure the safe and legal operation of your vehicle.

The role offers a minimum of 50 hours per week, paid at £16.71 per hour, plus 22 days holiday, holiday pay, discounts, cycle-to-work, a workplace pension and CPC training updates.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with CE entitlement.
• No more than six points on licence.
• Good knowledge of UK roads nationally.
• Ability to perform manual offloading and maintain fitness.
• Willingness to do Night Out up to 2 nights per week.
• Desirable HIAB experience; training provided.
• Construction industry experience preferable; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Single or multi-drop deliveries, generally a maximum of three per load.
• Ensure the safe and legal operation of your vehicle at all times.
• Typically, Mon to Fri - 05:00 to 16:00 - Flexibility required.
• Night out occasionally.
