Job summary

XPO Logistics in Ilkeston is seeking full-time, permanent Class 1 Day Drivers to join our site. You’ll work about 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 2–3 nights out paid.

We offer £15.88 per hour with overtime at 1.5 after 51.25 hours, holiday pay, discounts, cycle-to-work, a pension, and CPC training updates. Requirements include a Full UK driving licence with CE entitlement, a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card, no more than six points and no DD/DR/IN endorsements, and good knowledge

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with CE entitlement.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than six points on licence; no DD/DR/IN endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to Saint Gobain customers using standard routes.
• Drive new and well‑maintained equipment.
• Ensure safe and legal operation of the vehicle at all times.
