Job summary

XPO Logistics in Gotham is seeking full-time Class 1 HGV Day Drivers for a permanent contract. You will work a day shift, typically 06:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, with weekends off, averaging 48 hours per week.

You will carry out trunking and backhaul deliveries to customers, operating safely and legally at all times. The role also includes CPC training updates and access to pension and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with CE entitlement and CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than six points and no DD/DR/IN endorsements.
• Great knowledge of UK roads nationally.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking runs with occasional backloads.
• Ensure safe and legal operation of your vehicle.
• Backhaul deliveries for various customers and British Gypsum work.
