Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver for Dudley with excellent earning potential and straightforward deliveries. You will be responsible for safe transport of steel products, typically 1–2 drops per day, and you will join a driver-focused team that values safety and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally.
• Deliver steel products and secure loads using ratchet straps.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Accurately complete delivery and collection paperwork.
• Comply with Drivers' Hours, WTD, and tachograph regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.

• £24.00 per hour overtime after 8 hours

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe delivery of steel products, typically making just 1 to 2 drops per day.

Your duties will include:

• Operating Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally
• Delivering steel products and securing loads using ratchet straps
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Accurately completing delivery and collection paperwork
• Complying with Drivers' Hours, WTD, and tachograph regulations
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations

What We're Looking For

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
