The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for a leading national logistics company based in the Worksop. This ongoing, full-time role offers excellent pay, weekly pay, and the potential to secure a permanent position with a well established business.

Start times from 04:00, depot-to-depot trunking and minimal handball. Applicants must hold a Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, plus a minimum of two years' Class 1 driving experience,

Responsibilities

• Complete depot-to-depot deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Follow daily transport schedules and route plans.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks.
• Drive in line with all UK road transport legislation and compliance requirements.
• Maintain professional communication with the transport team regarding delays or issues.
• Ensure all paperwork and compliance procedures are completed accurately.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for a leading national logistics company based in the Worksop.

Pay Rates

Days: £18.04 - £18.38 per hour, £36.76 on Bank Holidays

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• During peak seasons, working 5 out of 6 days (Monday to Saturday)
• Start times from 04:00 onwards
• Typical shifts of 8-9 hours
• Depot-to-depot trunking work
• Minimal handball involved, if any

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

• Completing depot-to-depot deliveries safely and efficiently
• Following daily transport schedules and route plans
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks
• Driving in line with all UK road transport legislation and compliance requirements
• Maintaining professional communication with the transport team regarding any delays or issues

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Current Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
• Strong timekeeping and communication skills
• A professional and safety-conscious attitude
