Job summary

Staffline are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Minworth. Earn £16.55- £19.05 per hour with weekly pay and on-site support. The role includes weekend shifts and modern facilities, offering career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience, no more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions.

Responsibilities

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Working weekend shifts: Saturday to Monday, start times between 4am to 10am. Friday to Sunday, start times between 6pm to 11pm.

Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)

• £16.55- £19.05 per hour.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements and understand and be able to comply with driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
