Job summary

Extra Recruitment is seeking an experienced Class 1 General Haulage Driver for ongoing work in LE19. The role involves delivering and collecting general haulage loads, completing checks, and maintaining a high standard of service.

AM & PM shifts are available with weekly pay and a competitive rate of £19.00 per hour. Applicants must hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, and tachograph card, with at least six months' experience and reliable timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Flexible to work AM and/or PM shifts.
• Good communication and timekeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
• Complete General Haulage delivery and collection routes.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Ensure all loads are transported safely and securely.
• Complete required delivery paperwork and records.
• Maintain a professional and reliable service at all times.
