Job summary

The Best Connection Tamworth are seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to deliver chilled products to local businesses within a 60-mile radius. Weekend starts 06:00–15:00 with Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays shifts.

Responsibilities include safe driving, route completion, vehicle checks and paperwork, with adherence to Working Time regulations. £21.10/hr, weekly pay, pension, 28 days leave pro-rata.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
• Deliver chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius.
• Complete delivery routes efficiently and carry out vehicle checks.
• Complete relevant paperwork and ensure compliance with drivers hours and regulations.

Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client delivering chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver looking for regular weekend work with a reputable company.

The Role

As a Class 1 (C+E) Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of chilled products to customers.

Duties will include:

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally
• Delivering chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius
• Completing delivery routes efficiently
• Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with driver's hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Working Hours

• Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Start times between 06:00 - 15:00
• Flexible approach required to support weekday cover when needed

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Minimum 6 month's commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
