Job summary

The Best Connection in Clitheroe, Lancashire, England, is seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver for consistent weekday work with potential weekend shifts. You will be delivering palletised loads, typically around 19 pallets per load, and will be responsible for safe, timely deliveries to customer sites.

We offer a straightforward full-time role with a fixed finish time around 16:00, paid at £16.50 per hour, and a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

Class 1 (C+E) Driver - Clitheroe

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join a well-established client based in Clitheroe. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent weekday work, with potential weekend shifts available.

The Role

• Monday to Friday (with potential weekend work)


• Finish time: Approximately 16:00


• Delivering palletised packs of cement (approximately 19 pallets per load)


• Safe, timely and professional deliveries to customers


• Maintaining high standards of driving, compliance and customer service


• £16.50 per hour


• Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed per shift


• Overtime opportunities available (including weekends)


• Ongoing, regular work with a reputable client

Requirements

Assessment
