Job summary

Manpower UK is hiring a Class 1 Trunking Driver to work in Normanton (WF6). The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern with start times from 3pm and some 6am starts, paying £15.96/hour days and £18.13/hour for afternoons and nights. Free weekends and holidays are highlighted benefits, with modern vehicles and trunking work including drop and swap duties.

Applicants should hold a valid LGV C+E licence, CPC and Digi-Tacho, and have up to 6 points on their licence. ADR is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E licence.
• CPC and DIGI tacho card.
• Max 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements).
• ADR is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe, professional manner.
• Complete drop and swap trailer runs between Normanton and other key UK locations.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant.
• Drive modern vehicles to FORS Gold standards.

Join our team in Normanton (WF6) as a Class 1 Trunking Driver, where you'll benefit from a consistent Monday to Friday schedule and modern vehicles. This role involves trunking work with trailer drop and swaps-no handballing required!

What you'll be doing:

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner
• Completing drop and swap trailer runs between key UK locations: Normanton, Ferrybridge, Burton, Bradford, and back
• Ensuring all loads are safely secured and compliant
• Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles to FORS Gold standards

What we’re looking for:

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence
• Up-to-date CPC and DIGI tacho card
• Ideally 12 months experience driving Class 1 HGVs
• Maximum of 6 points on your licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
