Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a permanent position in Woking (GU21 3BA). The role offers an hourly rate of £21.06 to £24.18 and involves operating a Class 2 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres to ensure timely deliveries.

Shifts are predominantly nights and weekends. Applicants must hold a valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with strong knowledge of road safety and driving regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C driving licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year HGV driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles and ensure security of goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the operations team.
