Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Burton-on-Trent is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to help keep our operations running smoothly and deliver goods safely and on time.

This permanent, full-time role (48 hours per week) features Sunday to Thursday shifts with start times between 21:00 and 23:00, and overtime is regularly available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E), Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Ideally 12 months recent driving experience.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking runs from the brewery to various sites such as RDCs, cash & carries, and warehouse feeds for dray operations.
• Performing drop-and-swap trailer movements and occasional electric pallet truck (EPT) tipping where necessary.
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Complying with health and safety standards and The Highway Code, vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
