Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd, recruiting on behalf of a reputable Cardiff franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership, seeks a Compound / Class 1 Driver. You will move vehicles between sites, accept deliveries, and prepare vehicles for PDI, delivering exceptional service across the dealer network.

Full training provided, 39 hours per week, no weekend work, and a clear progression path within the dealer group.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with Class 1 qualification
• Minimal points on licence preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple vehicle movements

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles between site locations and to customers
• Accept vehicle deliveries and prepare vehicles for PDI
• Maintain accurate vehicle records on site
• Collect and deliver vehicles to customers, suppliers, and bodyshops
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report concerns
• Operate vehicle transporter safely and in compliance with tachograph regulations
• Ensure vehicles are presented to the highest standards
• Follow all safety and company procedures at all times
