As a Class 1 driver you will operate C+E vehicles safely, complete pre- and post-trip checks, transport goods to destinations on schedule, and comply with tachograph rules and UK driving regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Knowledge of drivers hours and tachograph rules.
• Experience driving Class 1 vehicles with a safety-first approach.
• Strong communication with customers and site staff.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in a safe and compliant manner
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks, report defects promptly
• Transport goods to scheduled destinations while maintaining delivery times
• Follow UK driving regulations, company procedures, and tachograph rules
• Secure loads and ensure vehicle compliance before departure
• Plan routes and manage driving hours per legal requirements
• Maintain accurate records including delivery documentation
• Provide professional service to customers and site staff at collection and delivery points
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including safe loading/unloading practices
