Job summary

Avara Foods requires a Class 1 Hatchery Driver to move eggs and chicks between breeder farms, our hatchery in Quainton, and contract farms. You will operate within health, safety and company standards, delivering eggs and chicks safely while upholding load security and PPE rules.

The role involves Sunday-Thursday shifts with a 48-hour guarantee, manual handling up to 20 kg, and independent work on farm sites. Training and development are provided from day one.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence with CPC and Tacho card.
• Self-motivated, flexible, committed and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Distribute eggs from breeder farms to Hatchery.
• Deliver chicks to company and contract broiler farms.
• Deliver eggs safely to the hatchery.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensure loads are secured and PPE is worn as required.
• Work within schedules and time directives.
• Present a professional Company image on farms and liaise with site managers.
