Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited in North Shields is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for trunking deliveries across the UK. This role offers flexible day shifts during peak trading periods and holiday cover.

You will start on a 06:00 shift, with no handballing required. A driving assessment and induction are provided prior to starting. Valid UK Class 1 licence and at least one year of Class 1 experience are required.

The Best Connection is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to support our client in North Shields with trunking deliveries across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking flexible day shifts during busy periods, peak trading and holiday cover.

The Role:

• Trunking runs to designated UK locations.
• No handballing required.
• Day shifts starting at 06:00.
• Flexible ad hoc work covering peak periods, sickness and holidays.
• Driving assessment and induction required before starting.

The Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• At least one year of commercial Class 1 driving experience.

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour for the first 8 hours.
• Monday to Friday: £24.00 per hour after 8 hours.
• Saturday: £24.00 per hour for all hours.
• Sunday and Bank Holidays: £32.00 per hour for all hours.
