Manpower is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for a West Thurrock, Essex operation. The role involves daily multi-drop deliveries and port haulage across the UK, with a focus on reliability and safety.

The position is full-time and permanent, with Monday to Friday shifts and typical start times between 08:00 and 09:00. A £39,000 annual salary reflects the seniority and responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Port cards for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway are preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in multi-drop or port haulage is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of London, Essex and the M25 area.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles with curtain-sided trailers or container skellies.
• Perform daily multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Move containers to and from major UK ports.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient deliveries.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and delivery accuracy.
