Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is recruiting a Class 1 Driver (HGV C+E) for a full-time, permanent role in West Thurrock. The driver will perform daily multi-drop deliveries across the M25, including container moves to ports such as Felixstowe, London Gateway and Southampton, with a focus on safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, a Digital Tachograph Card, and port cards or willingness to obtain them.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Port cards for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for daily multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Conduct container transport to and from major UK ports.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of goods.
• Maintain excellent customer service and delivery standards.
