Job summary

Manpower UK is looking for an HGV Class 1 Driver (Days) in Northwich to cover long-distance routes from Glasgow to Essex. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, a fixed weekly rota, and no overtime. Expect shifts starting early morning, around ten hours, five days a week with possible six days.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Current Driver CPC card.
• Strong understanding of tachograph legislation.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and act as a professional ambassador for the business.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic documentation accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and personal presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation, Tachograph regulations, WTD and Driver CPC requirements.
• Carry out load security and weight checks.
• Support regular and relief delivery routes as required.
• Drive safely and professionally, adhering to the Highway Code and speed limits.
• Champion Health and Safety standards at all times.
