Job summary

The Best Connection Group Ltd are recruiting reliable Class 1 Drivers for timber transportation across various locations. This opportunity offers weekly pay, holiday accrual, 24/7 support when needed, and ongoing full-time work with excellent hourly rates.

Role involves delivering timber products, usually 1 drop (can be up to 3), loading is not required; training will be provided for securing loads. Sundays to Thursdays shifts from 17:00–19:00.

Qualifications

• CPC Driver Qualification Card is required.
• Digi-Card is required.
• Class 1 (LGV+E) licence is required.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence; no DD/DR.
• Ongoing full-time assignment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 HGV to transport timber products to various locations
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and road worthiness
• Secure timber loads using ratchet straps to prevent movement during transit
• Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies
• Maintain delivery records and paperwork
• Perform routine vehicle management checks and report issues promptly
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites
• Adhere to delivery schedules while maintaining a high level of safety

No loading or unloading is required but you will be required to securely strap the load down - training can be provided.

Days of work for day drivers -

Sunday to Thursday

17:00 - 19:00
