Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a night-shift, temp-to-perm role in Milton Keynes. Expect around 45 hours per week with shifts from 20:00–22:00, paid at £18.00 per hour.

Your duties include managing deliveries of car, bus or truck parts from site to customer, manual cage handling, securing loads, and completing delivery documentation. In-date CPC and Digi card required; maximum 6 points accepted.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role:

HGV Class 1 Driver - Main duties and requirements are:

• Managing the delivery process from site to customer of car, bus or truck parts
• Manual handling of cages
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery device
• Newly Passed accepted
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR/DG / BA/CD/TT99 offences)

Working Hours:

• Minimum 45 hours per week
• Night shifts are Monday to Friday, start time can vary between 20:00 and 22:00

Pay:

• Standard rate of £18.00 per hour

What We're Looking For:

• In-date CPC and Digi card
• Comfortable working on highways and in physically demanding environments
