The Best Connection is seeking a HGV Class 1 (C+E) flatbed driver for ongoing assignments at the Thirsk hub. This role offers a Monday–Friday day shift from 06:00 to 16:00 with no weekend work, supporting nationwide deliveries.

You will operate a Class 1 flatbed, strap and secure loads, perform vehicle safety checks, and use online delivery scheduling and electronic delivery notes.

Qualifications

• Experience with flatbed trailers is preferred.
• Duties include strapping and securing loads.
• Ability to complete vehicle safety checks and report defects.

The Role

Starting daily from the Thirsk hub, you will ensure the safe, nationwide delivery of goods.

• Vehicle: Safely operating a C+E (Class 1) flatbed vehicle.
• Duties: Strapping and securing loads, completing vehicle safety checks, and reporting defects.
• Tech & Paperwork: Using website-based delivery scheduling and completing electronic delivery notes.

What We Need From You

• Valid C+E (Class 1) Licence
• Up-to-date CPC and DIGI Card
• Experience with Flatbed trailers is preferred, but a safe and professional driving attitude is essential.
