Job summary

The Best Connection Oldham is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing work based in Middleton, Greater Manchester. You will be delivering caged products across the UK from a distribution centre, with full training during induction and a pattern including 16:00–22:00 shifts.

Roles include weekend work during peak periods. Pay rates are 19.00/h weekdays, 25.87/h Saturday, and 34.50/h Sunday/Bank Holidays, with a minimum 9 hours per shift and full support from The Best Connection

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card (UK issued)
• Minimum 90 days recorded driving activity on your Digital Tachograph
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Knowledge of the UK motorway network
• Experience with cage deliveries is advantageous

The Best Connection Oldham is currently recruiting

HGV Class 1 Night Drivers (C+E) for ongoing work with our well-established client based in

Middleton, Greater Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced

Class 1 Drivers,

CE Drivers, and

HGV Night Drivers looking for regular work, competitive pay rates, and long-term assignments.

The Role

As a

Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery of caged products from the distribution centre to customer locations across the UK.

Duties include:

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally.
• Delivering caged goods to customer sites.
• Operating a tail lift when required.
• Completing all vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
• Complying with Driver's Hours and Working Time Regulations.

16:00 and 22:00

Full training will be provided during the initial induction period before moving onto a regular shift pattern.

Additional weekend shifts are available during peak trading periods.

Pay Rates

Weekdays: £19.00 per hour

Saturday: £25.87 per hour

Sunday & Bank Holidays: £34.50 per hour

Minimum 9 hours guaranteed per shift

Requirements

To be considered for this

HGV Class 1 Driver role, you must have:

• Valid

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience

• Valid
