Job summary

Adapt Logistics Recruitment is seeking a driver for refrigerated distribution based in the Knowsley area. You will work on ongoing shifts Monday to Friday, with day or night starts and breaks paid. Training can be provided if you have not previously worked a fridge trailer.

Applicants should hold a C&E licence (min 6 months in C&E), have DCPC valid, and good knowledge of EU driver hours and WTR rules. A permanent position may follow after a qualifying period.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence with a minimum of 6 months in C&E work.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• DCPC card (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) valid.
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules.
• Enjoy working with people at stores.
• Health & Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive fridge trailer to store locations.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and routes.
• Follow EU hours, WTR rules and safety guidelines.
• Interact professionally with store staff.
• Report incidents and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Our client specialises in chilled distribution (fridge and frozen) food. If you have worked a fridge trailer before great, but if not, don't worry they will train you.

For the right driver this could lead to a permanent job after a qualifying number of weeks. Ongoing shifts. Working Monday to Friday

£17.00 or £19.05 inc hol pay M-F Days

£18.00 or £20.17 inc hol pay M-F Night

£19.50 or £21.85 inc hol pay Sat

£21.00 or £23.53 inc hol pay Sun / BHol

BREAKS PAID * Min 8 hours guaranteed

Here is what the clients' criteria is to work here:-

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
