Job summary

Adapt Logistics Recruitment is assisting our client in Knowsley with refrigerated distribution driving roles. You will deliver chilled and frozen products to various stores, with training provided if you have fridge trailer experience. Shifts are ongoing, Mon-Fri with day and night options, and occasional weekends.

PAYE hourly rates start at £17.00, with higher rates for evenings, nights, and Sundays. Breaks are paid and a minimum of 8 hours is guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E driving licence with a minimum of 6 months in C&E work.
• CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) card is required.
• Good working knowledge of EU driver hours and WTR rules.
• Ability to work well with store staff and colleagues.
• Health & safety awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive fridge and frozen goods to stores, adhering to routes and timings.
• Comply with EU driver hours and WTR regulations.
• Interact professionally with store staff and colleagues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.

Our client specialises in chilled distribution (fridge and frozen) food. If you have worked a fridge trailer before great, but if not, don't worry they will train you.

For the right driver this could lead to a permanent job after a qualifying number of weeks. Ongoing shifts. Working Monday to Friday

£17.00 or £19.05 inc hol pay M-F Days

£18.00 or £20.17 inc hol pay M-F Night

£19.50 or £21.85 inc hol pay Sat

£21.00 or £23.53 inc hol pay Sun / BHol

BREAKS PAID * Min 8 hours guaranteed

Here is what the clients' criteria is to work here:-

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Enjoy working with people at the stores
• Health & Safety awareness

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
