Job summary

Adapt Logistics Recruitment is helping a client in Knowsley recruit a driver for fridge distribution. Training will be provided if you have not worked in fridge trailers before. This ongoing role offers Mon-Fri shifts with day or night starts and potential for permanency after an initial qualifying period.

Rates range from £17.00–£21.00 per hour, with enhanced rates including holiday pay (£19.05–£23.53 incl hol pay). Breaks are paid and there is a focus on safe, efficient delivery to Stores.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E driving licence (min 6 months in C&E work).
• No more than 6 minor points on licence; DCPC valid card.
• Good knowledge of EU driver hours and working-time rules.
• Enjoy working with people at stores; health & safety aware.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled distribution (fridge and frozen) to stores.
• Work Monday to Friday with day or night shifts; some weekend options.
• Breaks paid; potential for permanent role after qualifying weeks.

Our client specialises in chilled distribution (fridge and frozen) food. If you have worked a fridge trailer before great, but if not, don't worry they will train you.

For the right driver this could lead to a permanent job after a qualifying number of weeks. Ongoing shifts. Working Monday to Friday

£17.00 or £19.05 inc hol pay M-F Days

£18.00 or £20.17 inc hol pay M-F Night

£19.50 or £21.85 inc hol pay Sat

£21.00 or £23.53 inc hol pay Sun / BHol

BREAKS PAID * Min 8 hours guaranteed

Here is what the clients' criteria is to work here:-

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Enjoy working with people at the stores
• Health & Safety awareness

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
