People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Warrington, Cheshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

As a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits:

Rates of Pay:

• Mon - Fri Days: £17.00 per hour basic / overtime (after 45 hours) £20.95 per hour
• Nights: £18.46 per hour / overtime (after 45 hours) £21.81 per hour
• Sat and Sun Days: £23.81 per hour
• Sat and Sun Nights: £24.87 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Driving various Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicle
• Adhering to site specific risk assessments
• Ensure vehicles checks are completed before and after shift
• Report any issues to line manager

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Experience within a CE role, making store deliveries would be desirable

Training

• You must pass a written and physical driving assessment
• Drug & Alcohol Test must also be passed
• If the above is passed, you will receive a full paid Induction
