Job description

Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Appleton, Warrington. Please note this is 24/7 operation & we have days & nights & weekend shifts available

Pay rates PAYE (paid breaks)
* £16.00/h days
* £17.00/h nights

Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):
* £17.93/h days
* £19.05/h nights

Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.

Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
* At least 12 months Experience in general haulage & able to strap
* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
