Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for permanent night shifts in Warrington. Responsibilities include loading/unloading and operating double and single-decker trailers. Applicants must have a valid C+E entitlement, CPC card, Digi Card, and experience driving HGV vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in driving HGV vehicles.
• Experience driving Class 1 in the past 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on driving record.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading cages of letters/parcels.
• Driving double and single decker trailers.
• Element of pushing/pulling involved on double deck trailers.

HGV Class 1 Driver Nights


Pertemps are currently looking to recruit HGV 1 / LGV 1/ Class 1 / C+E drivers to work out of our client’s depot based in Warrington on permanent night shifts.


For this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E driver role, you will be responsible for:

• Loading/unloading cages of letters/parcels
• Element of pushing/pulling involved on double deck trailers
• Driving double and single decker trailers

For this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E driverrole, you will need:

• Experience of driving HGV vehicles (minimum 2 years and driven Class 1 in the past 6 months)
• Hold a valid C+E entitlement, CPC card and Digi Card
• No more than 6 points

Details of this HGV 1 / LGV 1/ Class 1 / C+E driverrole:

Monday to Sunday operation
Average 10 - 12 hour shifts
Start times vary from 2200 – 0300
Regular/ongoing work
The rates of pay start at £19.98 per hour up to £22.89 per hour - These are all PAYE rates
