Job summary

Driver Hire Darlington is recruiting experienced Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing supply work with trusted transport clients across the North East. This role offers regular night shifts starting around 18:00, four shifts per week, weekly pay and the chance to work with multiple companies.

You will hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC card, and a Digital Tachograph. 6+ months of Class 1 experience preferred and a professional, reliable attitude with strong road-safety focus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
• Professional and reliable attitude.
• Strong commitment to road safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Trunk runs and depot-to-depot deliveries.
• Minimal handball involved on most assignments.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.

Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Night Drivers to work on an ongoing supply basis for a range of well-established transport and logistics clients across the North East.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV drivers seeking regular night work, flexibility, and the chance to work with a variety of respected companies.

The Role of a Class 1 Driver

• Ongoing supply work with regular shifts available
• Trunk runs and depot-to-depot deliveries
• Minimal handball involved on most assignments
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork

Requirements to be a Class 1 Driver
