Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for roles based in Carrington, Greater Manchester. Immediate starts are available on days and nights with various shift patterns.

You will drive local, regional and nationwide deliveries, strap loads, complete checks and paperwork, and maintain compliance with regulations while delivering excellent customer service. Competitive hourly rates (£21.00–£24.00) with flexible shifts and ongoing work, offering potential permanent positions

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of UK driving regulations.
• Strong safety awareness and professional attitude.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 vehicles for local, regional, and nationwide deliveries.
• Handle supermarket RDC / trunking operations.
• Strap loads and secure cargo.
• Carry out vehicle checks and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with driving regulations and working time directives.
• Deliver high standards of customer service.
