Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. at Haydock is seeking Class 1 (C+E) night drivers for a permanent, full-time role with a 42-hour week in a 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off pattern. Start times are 17:00–19:00 and finish 05:00–07:00.

Typical duties include factory clearance runs between Haydock, Trafford Park and Wrexham, with up to 275 miles per shift and 3–6 loads per shift. Benefits include enhanced overtime, holiday pay, pension, 24/7 GP, life assurance and GXO University training.

Job description

We’re recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to support our Kellanova operation based at Haydock. This is a great opportunity to join a well‑established, professional contract offering stable work, a clearly defined shift pattern, and excellent earning potential. You’ll be part of a smooth‑running operation focused on factory clearance work, with set routes, modern facilities, and a supportive transport team.

This is a full‑time, permanent role, working an average of 42 hours per week on a 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off night‑shift pattern. Start times are between 17:00 and 19:00, with finish times between 05:00 and 07:00. A full‑year rota is provided, allowing you to plan ahead.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A valid Class 1 Driving license, CPC and Digi tacho card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no TT, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
