Job summary

Gi Group are looking for reliable and motivated HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing work with a carrier company based in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing and consistent work.

Pay is £21.99 per hour for hours worked and £25.13 for certain hours, with holiday pay included. Weekly pay and PAYE benefits apply, and drivers will be trunking to hubs, delivering with professionalism, and performing vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• A valid UK in-date HGV Class 1 Licence along with CPC & Digi.
• Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 Driving experience.
• No more than 6 SP penalty points (BA/CD/CU/DR/IN endorsements not accepted).
• Ability to provide 5 years of work/education history for security clearance.
• DBS check required (can be provided but may take up to two weeks).
• Excellent communication and a safety-focused approach.

HGV Class 1 Driver - Slough

Pay: £21.99 per hour for hours worked between (Apply online only)

£25.13 paid for hours worked between (Apply online only)

• These rates are inclusive of holiday pay

Shifts / Start times:

Tues to Sat - 0200 or 0500 starts
Mon to Fri - 0200 / 0500 / 1800 / 2000 / 2100 / 2300 starts

Your Responsibilities as a HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Trunking to hubs & depots
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism during deliveries
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure the van is in safe working order.

What You'll Need as a HGV Class 1 Driver:
