Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking skilled Class 1 drivers for a full-time, permanent role in Rochdale. You will work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with start times between 04:00 and 07:00 and occasional night outs as needed.

Qualifications

• Full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement.

• Endorsements DR/DG/DD/BA/CD/AC/TT99 within last 5 years are disallowed.

Responsibilities

• Trunking and tramping deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs).
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
• Complete all necessary paperwork correctly and on time.
• Comply with Driver hours, Tachograph, Working Time and Road Traffic Act regulations.

This is a full-time, permanent role. You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week,on a shift pattern of Monday to Friday with start time between 04:00 - 07:00. Further details regarding your shift pattern and working schedule will be provided during the assessment process, as this role may involve occasional night outs depending on operational requirements.

What you will do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
