Job summary

GXO is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for our Shared User operation in Crick (NN6 7GZ). You will deliver and collect goods to customers, handling 2–5 drops per shift on a full-time basis. Expect 47.5 hours per week, with start times between 02:30 and 15:00, and overnight stays as required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C/C+E entitlement.
• Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with conviction in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to retail stores and distribution points.
• Deliver and collect goods to customer locations, completing 2–5 drops per shift.
• Spend nights away from base when required by operations.
• Maintain timely and safe deliveries with excellent customer service.
• Perform vehicle checks and keep accurate delivery records.
• Take on occasional warehouse duties as needed.

Job description

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of to retail stores and distribution points
• Drivers must be prepared to spend nights away from base when operational needs require it
• Ensuring timely and safe delivery, providing excellent customer service at every drop
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service during all deliveries
• Performing vehicle checks and keeping accurate delivery records
• Performing occasional warehouse duties as needed
• A full UK driving licence with category C/C+E entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times between 02:30 and 15:00, depending on customer requirements.
