Job summary

Driver Hire Belfast is seeking a professional Class 1 Driver for a dayshift role in Northern Ireland. You will deliver metal and steel to commercial customers, starting at 6am and finishing around 3pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available after 50 hours.

The position offers a temp to permanent pathway with competitive hourly pay. Applicants should hold a valid Class 1 licence with CPC and tachograph cards; experience with strapping down loads is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Metal and steel delivery experience desirable.
• 2 years Class 1 experience including strapping down.

Responsibilities

Driver Hire Belfast is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client for a professional and experienced Class 1 Driver.

This role involves the delivery of metal and steel products to commercial customers throughout Northern Ireland and offers a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

• Monday to Friday
• 6am start - 3pm finish
• £16.50 per hour
• Overtime paid after 50 hours at Time and One Third (Overtime available)
• Immediate start available
• Temporary to permanent opportunity
