Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are seeking multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client in Belfast, BT36, for temporary-to-permanent work. Night shifts start around 22:00–23:59, with responsibilities including palletised parcel transport to sub-depots and delivery units.

You will hold a full UK HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and Tachograph card, meet WTD requirements, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety and compliance throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 entitlement.
• Valid in-date DCPC (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence - minor offences only.
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
• Willingness to complete a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting palletised parcels to sub-depots and delivery units.
• Completing approximately 3-4 runs per shift.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records.
• Assisting with loading and unloading using tail lift and pump truck.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.
• Providing professional and courteous customer service.
• Representing the company in a positive and professional manner.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in Belfast (BT36). We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on a temporary basis.

Pay & Shifts

• HGV Class 1 Nights: £19.87 per hour PAYE
• Start Time: 22:00pm to 23:59pm
• Job Type: Temp to Perm
• Location: Belfast, BT36

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting palletised parcels to and from sub-depots and delivery units.

Your duties will include:
