Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our client in Belfast (BT36) for a HGV Class 1 Driver on a temp to perm basis. You will safely transport palletised parcels to and from sub-depots and delivery units, completing around 3-4 runs per shift.

Key requirements include a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, Tachograph card, and good knowledge of the Working Time Directive. Excellent communication and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• HGV licence & entitlements required.
• CPC (DCPC) & Tachograph card mandatory.
• Knowledge of Working Time Directive.
• Strong safety mindset and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting palletised parcels to sub-depots and delivery units.
• Completing approximately 3–4 runs per shift with safe and efficient deliveries and collections.
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records.
• Assisting with loading/unloading using tail lift and pump truck while following safety procedures.
• Providing professional customer service and representing the company professionally.
